This is a craft that I have not been doing for very long. But it's fun, and I like switching to it when I get tired of sewing or tatting.
I use recycled wool blankets and coats that are found at second hand stores and rummage sales. I Like to use the tweeds and plaids use as is, but many of the plain white pieces I hand-dye to get the exact color I am looking for. I draw my pictures on burlap backing and use my antique hook which belonged to my Grandma Pauline. Her Great-Grandfather forged it for her many years ago, and it is a wonderful tool to work with.

This is my tool.. it is very sharp!
I don't have a good lap or floor frame yet, so for now I just settle with this scroll-type frame.
