Betsy McCall
14" Betsy McCall came to live here on Saturday, September 1st, 2007.
She was a gift from a sweet friend.
Since summer was almost over, Betsy wanted something to keep her warm. So mother had to make her a new pair of overalls.
She also discovered that some of Bleuette's things fit, such as this soft warm hooded cape.

One day the sweet friend gave Betsy some more new things. Oh! There is a pair of Ice Skates! We have always wanted some of those!

And look at all the shoes and hangers. We will need to have outfits to match and fill them all.

The skates fit! And so does this crocheted outfit made from an old Mary Hoyer Pattern.

Betsy definitely needed a new outfit for Valentine's Day. So I made her something chocolately! The pink shoes are in her new wardrobe. And the whole outfit matches the little bear she got for Christmas.
Happy Valentine's Day!

Winter came and went. I don't know what happened to Spring, but Besty was sorely lacking. We will need to make that up in 2009.
Remember the school outfit? It is now September, and time to put it on!
Summertime came, and Betsy took a trip to the beach.
